Privacy Policy
Last updated June 8, 2026
InferSports is in public beta, so these policies may change; material updates are noted on the changelog. The service is read-only and informational — it does not place bets and is not betting, financial, or legal advice.
InferSports is a developer API. We collect the minimum needed to run your account and the service — no betting or consumer profiles.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and a salted password hash (PBKDF2). We never store your password in clear text.
- API keys — stored hashed/masked; the full key is shown only once at creation.
- Usage metrics — per-key request counts, error rates, and latency, so you can see usage in the dashboard and we can enforce rate limits.
- Operational logs — standard request metadata for security and debugging.
What we do not collect
We do not collect bets, wagers, financial accounts, or end-user gambling activity — the API is read-only odds data and never touches an execution path. We don't sell your data or run third-party ad tracking.
Cookies
The developer console uses a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Usage metrics are aggregate and retained for operations. Close your account and we delete or anonymize associated personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your choices
You can update your email, rotate or revoke keys, and close your account from the dashboard. For data requests, contact us.
